Internal Influences on Change

Task: This third paper will continue the analysis of influences on the proposed change to your firm/department. You are now to describe the internal influences that may directly impact the success of the proposed change. Describe important aspects of the culture (values, rituals, etc.) and determine which model from the “Competing Values Framework” best describes your organization. Next, using the descriptions offered in Organizational Change (chapters 5-6), analyze how internal leadership styles and politics may influence (either positively or negatively) the success of the proposed change. Finally, provide strategies and tactics to deal with global cultural influences (internal and external) upon the proposed change. (SLO 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3)
